What is an Interstate Mod?

Interstate rated means the risk has or had operations in North Carolina and other states and the National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc. (NCCI) has issued an interstate experience mod using data from all applicable states.

Interstate Mod worksheets MUST BE OBTAINED BY THE AGENT from NCCI and forwarded to the NCRB with an Assigned Risk application (if applicable).
